Tree of Life

This was an attempt to blend two photos together using a double exposure technique. For the first layer, I used the pregnant woman and used the quick selection tool to outline her body. Then I created a new layer mask and desaturated the photo. Next, I embedded the tree photo over the mother photo and added another layer mask. The image of the tree appeared in the mother's photo. I used the brush tools to brush away parts of the mother so that the tree was more visible. I adjusted the opacity on several of the layers.
